Director of Nursing

Tom_Ives_RNTom Ives, RN, is the Director of Nursing for Home Health Companions. “We have a wonderful team here. Every day brings something new and different, with a lot of variety. I enjoy meeting clients and their families to help with their needs,” says Tom. “At the end of the day we are helping people and that’s the most important thing we can do,” he adds.

Tom served in the United States Navy, and then as a contractor for the defense industry before making a career change to nursing in 2010.

CNA’s and Caregivers must possess:

  • 2 years of verifiable experience with a facility, hospital, or a licensed agency
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current driver’s license
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Current CPR
  • Current TB Test

LVN’s and RN’s must possess:

  • 2 years of verifiable experience with a facility, hospital, or a licensed agency
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current driver’s license
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Current CPR
  • Current TB Test
  • Nursing license in Texas, or a Compact State
